On February 20, Nong Delai, Commercial Counselor at the Vietnamese Embassy in China, along with Zhou Taiping, Director of the Beijing Branch of Vietnam Television, and journalist Nguyen Vi Trung, visited the Tianjin HIGREEN Market, part of the Shennong Group. They conducted on-site inspections and held a special interview focusing on topics such as the sale of Vietnamese fruits in China, market potential, and future development directions. Liu Zongyu, Chairman of Tianjin HIGREEN, warmly welcomed the delegation. Both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on issues including agricultural product import and export supply chains and cross-border trade cooperation.

Nong Delai and his delegation visited the ASEAN Imported Fruit Trading Zone and the Digital Exhibition Hall at Tianjin HIGREEN. They gained a detailed understanding of the rapid development of Vietnamese imported fruits since the "Vietnam Durian Promotion Conference and Fruit Carnival" held on January 13, 2023, at Tianjin HIGREEN. They highly praised HIGREEN’s operational model and its integrated practices, and expressed great appreciation for HIGREEN’s role in promoting international agricultural trade. He pointed out: “Vietnam is an important agricultural partner of China. In recent years, high-quality fruits such as durian, dragon fruit, jackfruit, and young coconuts have entered the Chinese market, benefiting businesses and consumers in both countries. We look forward to leveraging Tianjin HIGREEN’s ‘port-industry-city’ advantages in the future to take Vietnam’s specialty agricultural products sales in China to a new level and enable more Chinese agricultural products to enter the Vietnamese market.” Vietnam Television provided full coverage and conducted a special interview with HIGREEN’s import fruit distributors in Tianjin.
