Abstract
As the “May Day” and “May 4th” holidays approach, Tianjin HIGREEN, together with its tenants, is hosting the thrilling 3rd “Power Cup” tug-of-war competition and an outdoor hiking and team-building event, showcasing with sweat and passion the HIGREEN spirit of hard work, relentless pursuit, and indomitable resilience!
On April 27, at the tug-of-war arena, 12 teams—comprising vegetable vendors, fruit merchants, multi-category retailers, meat vendors, loading and unloading personnel, and company employees—stood ready to compete, with nearly 150 team members eagerly poised for action. Each team consisted of 10 “powerful male athletes” paired with 2 “heroic female warriors.” Everyone showcased their strength and fought fiercely, battling their way through the preliminary rounds, semi-finals, and finally the grand final. As soon as the starting whistle blew, cheers and shouts of encouragement soared high into the sky, reaching a climactic crescendo. The red ribbon swung back and forth between the two teams in a thrilling tug-of-war. The team members’ faces turned bright red, their bodies lowered, their feet digging firmly into the ground, and their hands gripping the rope with all their might—no one was willing to give an inch. After round after round of intense competition, Team No. 10, the fruit merchants, emerged victorious with exceptional cohesion and explosive power, conquering every hurdle and defeating every opponent along the way to claim first place. Teams No. 5, the corporate safety management team, and No. 12, the multi-category meat merchants, refused to be outdone, taking second and third places respectively. They were truly well-deserved heroes of the competition!

The event on April 29 was equally spectacular. To enhance cohesion and teamwork among the company’s young employees, enrich their extracurricular lives, and showcase their youthful energy and vitality, the company organized an outdoor hiking and jogging team-building activity themed “Carrying Forward the May Fourth Spirit, Igniting Youthful Energy,” followed by a screening of the patriotic film “1921.” As everyone strolled along the trails in the suburban park, laughter and cheerful chatter filled the air, fostering closer bonds and mutual exchange. During the jogging segment, participants eagerly chased after one another, vying enthusiastically for the lead. In the subsequent team-building activities—such as the penguin-style relay race, bottle-snatching challenge, and “Don’t Let the Forest Fall”—five teams competed and collaborated closely, creating lively and interactive scenes that drew bursts of laughter from the crowd. While thoroughly enjoying the fun of sports, participants fully experienced the magic of teamwork.

The implementation of this event has strengthened the team’s cohesion and solidarity, enhanced in-depth communication between the company and its merchants, and injected new momentum into the corporate spirit of “focusing wholeheartedly on our mission, dedicating ourselves to work and entrepreneurship, and striving for excellence in everything we do.”
