On April 10, Li Shengli, Honorary Chairman of the Tianjin Import-Export Chamber of Commerce, and his delegation visited the Tianjin (Jinghai) HIGREEN Market, which is part of the Shennong Group. They conducted an in-depth inspection, research, and exchange on topics such as agricultural product import and export trade and the display and sale of imported goods.

Li Shengli and his delegation visited, in turn, the Comprehensive Agricultural Products Exhibition and Sales Center of Tianjin HIGREEN, the Imported Fruit Trading Zone, the Vegetable Trading Zone, the Sliding-Rail Meat Trading Zone at the Meat Trading Center, and the Digital Exhibition Hall. During the tour, they gained a detailed understanding of Tianjin HIGREEN’s recent efforts in areas such as showcasing and selling high-end imported agricultural products, trading imported fruits, and facilitating centralized, contactless sliding-rail meat transactions. Li Shengli highly praised Tianjin HIGREEN’s achievements in stabilizing prices, ensuring supply, guaranteeing food safety, and boosting consumption. He also shared the importers’ and exporters’ association’s accumulated service experience and unique advantages in promoting enterprises’ import and export trade.

Li Shengli pointed out that the Import-Export Chamber of Commerce, as Tianjin’s platform for promoting foreign trade, will actively play the role of a bridge and link, providing services such as enterprise promotion, overseas resource matching, and participation in overseas exhibitions and exchanges to help enterprises achieve internationalization. The Chamber also plans to award HIGREEN the title of “Import-Export Merchant Demonstration Service Base,” supporting it in gathering high-quality imported agricultural products and creating special exhibition zones for national pavilions, using culture to drive product sales. In addition, the Chamber suggests that Tianjin HIGREEN launch various marketing activities, such as the “Imported Fruit Festival” and “Consumption Season,” enabling citizens to fully immerse themselves in the experience of imported goods, thereby enhancing HIGREEN’s brand influence. Through continuous efforts in “pooling resources, harnessing synergies, and amplifying communication,” the Chamber and enterprises will work together to promote sustained growth in Tianjin HIGREEN’s import and export trade. He particularly emphasized that Tianjin HIGREEN needs to develop practical and feasible plans, assign dedicated personnel to follow up closely, establish effective communication channels, and ensure that all tasks are implemented effectively.

Liu Zongyu, Chairman of Tianjin HIGREEN, stated that Tianjin HIGREEN is willing to serve as an important platform for the Import-Export Chamber of Commerce, providing a venue for exhibitions and sales. By bringing together currently dispersed imported goods at HIGREEN, we can create a concentrated cluster and enhance HIGREEN’s international influence. At the same time, leveraging Tianjin HIGREEN’s and Shennong Group’s extensive experience in trade shows as well as the brand resources of the “Fushi Market,” we will establish specialized zones dedicated to high-end products. Taking the Tianjin market as a pilot site, we will roll out this initiative within Shennong Group’s nationwide “single network” marketing system, fostering synergies and, in the later stages, launching bonded and duty-free exhibition areas. Liu Zongyu expressed his hope that through deepened cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, HIGREEN can accelerate its internationalization process. Meanwhile, Tianjin HIGREEN will play a leading role as a flagship enterprise in agricultural industrialization, injecting strong momentum into Tianjin’s development into an international consumption hub city.
